How to delete your Gift Proof account
Gift Proof supports account deletion both inside the app and through this public support path.
Delete from inside the app
If you can still access your account, use the in-app route below:
- Open Gift Proof.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion request by typing DELETE.
This flow is intended to delete your Gift Proof account and associated app data, subject to any limited retention required for security, fraud prevention, billing, or legal compliance.
Delete through the public support path
If you cannot access the app, email giftproof@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Gift Proof account and request account deletion.
Include enough information for us to identify the account, such as:
- The email address tied to your Gift Proof account.
- Whether you signed in with Apple, Google, or email verification.
- Any details that help identify the correct account safely.
What happens next
Once verified, we will process the deletion request and remove the account and associated data that we are not required to retain. If extra time is needed, we may contact you through your request email.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage cancellations through the store where you purchased the subscription.
